Artificial Island, Yumenoshima

Hi guys ^_^ .. Have you heard about an artificial island? Well, let’s talk about that right now.

Yumenoshima and Yumeshima are not the same.. Yumeshima is an artificial island in Osaka Bay whereas, Yumenoshima is an artificial island in Kyoto, Tokyo, Japan. The artificial island or a man-made island, Yumenoshima, was built using waste landfill. It amazed me! And take note that this kind of island is not just the first island made in the bay of Japan. However, I only picked Yumenoshima as our topic for today. I mean….. there’s a lot of artificial islands in Japan and I only have to pick one ^_^ ..

Yumenoshima is a small district therefore it contains few places too.

These places may look so small but the venue for archery events in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics will be held and hosted at Yumenoshima Park.
